Is it normal that i'm 24 and don't like to wear makeup?

I'm 30 and don't wear it. I feel like I look better without it. XD

It's natural and unnecessary. It's not normal for people to think it's not normal not to wear it.

You do you. I personally don't feel like wasting my expensive department store cosmetics just to go into Walmart. I mean who the Hell is there to impress. As long as you're clean, and have brushed your teeth I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Where I live about 50% of the women I see wear make up daily/ almost daily. It’s very normal not to and probably better for your pores.

If people don't know your situation or how you feel when it makes your skin feel dry, if others feel like they just have to say something, then don't be afraid to just have to say something back, like "mind your own DAMN business" or "do I tell you how to live your life" or maybe even my favorite - when someone asks you about why your not wearing makeup say "oh I didn't tell you"? They say no-one then you say "I guess it's none your DAMN business then." But there are many women that have a natural food looks and cute about them. It's a shame society has to make people feel like they are either to this certain standard or they are inferior to others. The people that usually talk about being in a pedestal, more than likely out themself up there cuz no one else would.

I wear glasses (contacts are out of the question) so puting on makeup can be a real challenge for me. Half the time I am blindly applying. I usually look like a raccoon with red/purple lips so, NO THANKYOU to dumb makeup products.

I wear make up when I feel like it, and at no other time. Sometimes I'll go for months without feeling like it, and then I'll have a random week where I wear it 3 or 4 days. Or maybe there will be a special event and then I'll put really nice make up on. But then I could go for ages without wearing it again.

I wouldn't wear make up in Walmart. Who the fuck are you trying to impress in Walmart lol.

You're fine OP, there's absolutely no need to wear make up if you have no desire to. It's personal choice. I think this is becoming more accepted these days so hopefully you'll find less and less people bug you about this.

There’s no rule saying that you as a female should wear cosmetics. Why should it bother you if they majority do and you don’t?

As you long as look clean and that you take care of yourself no make up is fine.

I'm allergic to nearly all makeup and never wear it. I personally feel like my face looks better without a rash. But even if you don't have a medical condition, there's no reason you should have to wear makeup, especially for something as mundane as going shopping.

Some girls look better without makeup I feel like. Some girls look better with just light mascara too.
