I understand what you mean, but inhaling the fumes of gasoline or any organic solvent is definitely not good for you.
I understand that huffing gas is a particular problem on Native American reservations and in Aboriginal communities in Australia since the stuff is cheap and easily available and the high is intense.
The habit does cause very serious health issues, though, including permanent damage to the lungs, brain, heart and other organs. People who regularly huff gas or paint end up with very noticeably impaired brain function, so it's logical to assume that inhaling any of these fumes can't be doing you any good. I'm not suggesting that getting an occasional whiff will result in you ending up spending your life sitting in the corner drooling and gibbering like a demented chimp, but if you care about your health and you like having a functional brain, it's something you should avoid.
I looove the smell of petrol. When I was younger I used to sneak into our home garage to sniff some that was left in small jerrycans, but not in a drug-addict-manner.. just a few sniffs. That shit gives a high, trust me.
Where I'm from, street children sniff tuff bond adhensive (which contains petrol) they carry in small bottles to get high.
Yeah, you live up to your handle.
I really dislike the smell of diesel fuel. Although, thinking about it now, I do wonder if that goes back to one very cold winter when I was a young adult and I lived in a rental place with a oil-fuelled furnace. The tank that had so much crud in it that I had to crawl under the house virtually every day to clear the fuel line, and that invariably meant I got the crap all over my hands.
