Is it normal that i love the smell of gasoline?

I understand what you mean, but inhaling the fumes of gasoline or any organic solvent is definitely not good for you.

I understand that huffing gas is a particular problem on Native American reservations and in Aboriginal communities in Australia since the stuff is cheap and easily available and the high is intense.

The habit does cause very serious health issues, though, including permanent damage to the lungs, brain, heart and other organs. People who regularly huff gas or paint end up with very noticeably impaired brain function, so it's logical to assume that inhaling any of these fumes can't be doing you any good. I'm not suggesting that getting an occasional whiff will result in you ending up spending your life sitting in the corner drooling and gibbering like a demented chimp, but if you care about your health and you like having a functional brain, it's something you should avoid.

I used to like the smell of it but working as a mechanic and getting doused from head to toe on more than one occasion quickly quells the satisfying aroma.

It gives you a high, because of the ethanol, but it’s very dangerous to all your organs, especially your liver. The liver filters the blood, and if it fails, you’re dead.

I was caught sniffing the stuff and got such a sound thrashing for it that I never did it again.

I'm the same way about body shops. I like the smell of bondo and fiberglass resin.

I looove the smell of petrol. When I was younger I used to sneak into our home garage to sniff some that was left in small jerrycans, but not in a drug-addict-manner.. just a few sniffs. That shit gives a high, trust me.

Where I'm from, street children sniff tuff bond adhensive (which contains petrol) they carry in small bottles to get high.

I dont like gas/petrol but diesel has a sweet smell to it that i kind of like.

The smell of gasoline is nice, but don't overdo it. It's very bad for your health.

I loved working on my E24's engine and having some of that gasoline smell in the garage (garage door open for fresh air).

In fact most car fluids and new car parts smell nice.
