Did you lack a positive masculine presence growing up? Are you so afraid of competing in the dominance hierachy of men that you'd rather become a woman?

Either way, you'll just hate yourself in the end. You need to be a truthful individual and you can't do that if you lie to yourself.

You should hear yourself: misogynic and then transphobic. Strong feelings are NOT a lie. Why would a person lie to him-/herself anyways?

You can take your labels and shove them. My tone would be less serious if trans-people and depression didn't go together like flies on shit. Your political correctness is encouraging young people towards suicide.

We lie to ourselves all the time, and for an array of reasons. Especially when it comes to unfortunate truths and who to blame. Ask a couple in the middle of a divorce—how often do they claim that they are blameless while the other is the problem?

Ask a young man, who doesn't seem to fit in, who is socially awkward and never had much of a dad. Maybe he blames his gender, and tries to fix that instead of himself.

Yeah that's totally fine, sounds like a harmless healthy bit of fun to me.

Now there is a difference between what one feels and what one does. One usually cannot control ones feelings, but one can always control ones behavior more or less, unless one has frontal lobe damage. Now, if thinking what you think is right or wrong is another thing, and that depends on your moral stand. Some people will say it is not a good thing to follow such feelings, others who don't have really have any moral view on such behavior would say you can do what you want. And in the end any gain or loss you get from either listening to your feelings or not, is your own. But if your behavior is normal or not statistically among men? Then no, it is not normal.

It's normal if it feels right.
