Is it normal that i lost my virginity to a stranger and don't regret it at all?

Okay, so for a while it was bothering me that I was still a virgin at age 20/21. So I found a guy who was willing to help me out and did it. Before when I asked people for advice about this, practically everyone said to wait for "someone special," and that if I did it just to do it I'd regret it. But I don't really regret it at all. I didn't enjoy it, but I don't regret it. Thoughts?

    If who you lose your virginity to is important, lose it to someone special. If you just want to lose it for the sake of losing it, don't pick someone special. It's different for different people and not everyone is the same. I would never have lost mine to someone I won't even remember in a few years but that's just me. I can understand your feelings too.

    I lost my v so drunk and barred out I hardly remember it happened. Then I never saw the guy again. I don't regret it.

    I agree. I'm fed up with being a virgin and I don't feel as though my virginity is something special, I just want it gone I don't mind if it's with a stranger. Now if only I had the confidence to do it haha

    I am still a virgin and I am 26. I want my card gone and don't to loose it to someone special. I think we should be able to loose to who ever the fuck we want to.

    As long as you used protection or if not visited a medical centre or similar place to check yourself for any STD's then yes it is okay, if not I recommend you do so as soon as possible and next time use protection (condoms, the pill or both to be on the safe side) :)

    Everyone finds different things important. Some people think it's important to take note of the first time you had sex but I don't understand why losing your virginity is such an occasion? You don't take any notice when you do other things for the first time??

    I don't know. I lost mine with somebody who was special but I had my first kiss with a stranger and I didn't mind either. I just saw it as practise! So I thought I'd be better when I had to kiss a special person! But why do you say you didn't enjoy it??
