I know that loose fitting pants are coming back, particularly amongst women who call the pants "mom jeans". Mismatched socks are big with both men and women.
It's mostly just street casual wear as of writing this. A quick look at Reddit calls the current male fashion trend "dadcore". Personally I would just rather wear black jeans and whatever shirt I happen to grab.
