My husband loves to be nude and is nude almost all the time in our home/garage and backyard. Both of our immediate neighbors have expressed acceptance of his nudity and have seen him nude many times.
We go to clothing optional resorts and beaches so he can be nude and I can remain clothed, as that is the way each of us is most comfortable. Most couples we meet at clothing optional locations are similarly attired.
I guess, in general, guys just like being looked at. Although we have seen couples where the wife/girl is nude and he is dressed, it is less common but not unheard of either. He has told me he likes others (read women) to see him nude and that he has exhibitionist tendancies. That is fine as long as no one else touches.
