I think its worth taking the risk of being honest with her. If it works out you get what you want if it doesn't your right where you are now. Can you live with not taking the chance? You could be subtle and bring it up in a way that gives you a out like... hey I saw this movie with 2 girls making out and it was really hot... or whatever find a movie or book or some thing and see how she reacts. If shes like ewww gross then you probly don't have a chance but you should find out some how. Good luck.
