My son is 19-years-old, and I recently found out that he's been doing porn to earn some extra money for college. I confronted him about it, and he says he was approached by some guy at the gym he met at the lockers, and asked him if he was interested in modeling or doing some adult work. The guy complimented my son on his 'manhood,' and said that he could make a lot of money with it. My son is very good-looking and athletic, so I wasn't really surprised he was approached.

I asked him what kind of porn it was, and he said it was mostly him getting oral sex and that he has sex with only girls in the videos. I asked him how many porno scenes he's done and he said over 30 videos of him having sex with different girls, and a few gangbangs.
As a dad, this was hard for me to understand and accept. I still see him as my boy, and now he's having sex with multiple girls on video. I tried talking him out of it but he says the money's really good. I told my son that him doing porn could get him in trouble since he's on an athletic scholarship in college. Then my son told me that the porn he'd be doing in POV, which means that the camera will focus on the girl, and not show his face. So only my son's body and dick would be seen. I looked at the porn company online and saw that it was safe and legit, so I told my son as long as he doesn't show his face he can keep doing it.

I told my brothers about this, and they disapproved of my decision to let him keep doing it.

    It's normal. Nearly 17% of boys get involved in gay porn in some way during their college years. It may not seem a high statistic, but reamember, that's only the number that report it. As Frankie said, relax. You never know, it might lead somewhere big. And at the very least, he'll have gained some work experience which is invaluable in this economy.

    Well hes 19 so he an adult and can make his own decisions plus if hes safe and making money for school which is expensive then theres no problem.

    Maybe not normal, but, is up to him. Hot, young hostess at sports bar I go to is 19, maybe 20, bounces from place to place and guy to guy, and frequent money issues.       I know people who have done stuff like this, The problem is when you get used to the easy money and develop spending habits as if you can continue doing this forever. If you save the money and later invest in a buisiness/home it's actually smart, if you blow it all on drugs and makeup you eventually wind up being a crack whore. Just don't expect to get any legitimate modeling or political jobs afterwards.

        Agreed, and I've told her.. Don't go crazy on car crap (she's a car nut). You don't need the huge wheels, styled paint job, spoilers.. Just don't go crazy with the damn car. She did keep up the hair and nails, but I'm not sure how much she spent on the car.

    No it's not normal. I'm actually so happy my parents had a discussion with me about stuff like this when I was twelve so I didn't end up like your son. He is getting himself into trouble and he obviously was not raised to stay away from that kind of stuff. It's too late now. You blew your change.
