Is it normal that i laugh when i get physically hurt in front of others?

I give a little laugh and a smile everytime I get hurt in front of others, like yesterday when I was doing a bit of hiking with others we were going down a steep hill ready to go home, and the road was right there, I jumped and fell on the road as there were stones and I rolled onto my stomach really hard then kept rolling until I rolled onto my back, grazed my arms, cuts on my palms on both hands, legs and back laughed for a few seconds and I quickly jumped up and smiled and thats when the pain and fainting started kicking in, I pretended that I was okay. When its me all by myself I would swear, scream , cry and kick things. Is this normal?

You're doing it to cover up and not be embarrassed or seem genuinely hurt. About a month ago, I sold my old car, as bought a new one. Guy came to look at it, decided yes, and helped me push it out of my garage and onto my somewhat sloped driveway. It got away from us, and I tried to catch up to it to hit the emergency break, but, the open door knocked me over and I nearly got run over by my own car. My shoulder hit the driveway pavement, and it did hurt, but, to not look hurt, I popped up, laughed like crazy (part of me did think it was funny), as the guy was saying "All I thought was, is he dead?".

I laughed it off, then he left. When I went back into my house, I took advil and did a warm compress for my painful, sore shoulder. Yes, it hurt quite a bit. But I wasn't going to let him see that.
