Is it normal that i kinda think daunte deserved it?
Daunte tried to resist arrest. For that reason, I kinda think he deserved his fate.

Resisting arrest doesn't give the police the right to summarily execute the person on the spot. There are procedures and courts for that.
That's horrible. It's natural to want to resist arrest. Saying that someone deserves to die for that is really cruel, not to mention stupid.
That little shit had a warrant out for attempted armed robbery for pulling a gun on a woman & also choking her.
& he also violated his bail in three ways when he posted a video of him being in possession of a firearm, being in possession of drugs & brandishing a unlicensed/stolen firearm (it's illegal for a person under 21 to own a handgun in his state) like a straight fucking dumbass. Darwinism at it's finest, I would say I feel sorry for his kid (yeah, got girl pregnant at 17 & ditched) but let's be honest that wannabe wankster, highschool dropout wasn't going to do shit for that kid.
Ok so he deserves to go to prison. He didn't deserve to die. If everyone thought like that about people like him, we'd be back in the witch hunt days.
He'd still be alive if he didn't try to rob a woman at gun point. (There would be no arrest warrant for him)
He'd still be alive if he didn't drive with expired plates. (Police wouldn't need to pul him over)
He'd still be alive if he didn't try to resist arrest. (Police wouldn't need to reach for anything, guns or tazers)
The officer made one mistake that led to Daunte's death but he made 3 that led to the situation.
Well they weren't mistakes, he deliberately committed those crimes. But he did so realising that the punishment if he got caught would be prison, not death due to some retard cop. But that's what petty criminals do, it's to be expected. A trained police officer on the other hand, getting confused with the difference between a taser and a gun should serve some time for gross negligence with a deadly weapon. It's not like her life was even in danger, and she couldn't even take a second to make sure she wasn't gonna shoot him.
I think it was a bad shooting. She shouldnt have shot him. But I personally do think the looters should be shot. You could stop the looting tonight. One looter drops dead and the others think hmm maybe this looting shit aint for me. At some point we have to grow some balls and draw a line. They are letting snowflakes burn down private businesses everywhere
I agree with the second degree manslaughter. It was an honest mistake, but she still killed someone, the law doesnt change depending on whom is getting arrested.
How this is different from the floyd case is that the officer was specifically trained to use this technique it wasnt an accident because it's what he was supposed to do. Plus his death had multiple causes. Something that the prosecution has to state that it was exclusively caused by the officers action without a reasonable doubt while the defense just has to provide reasonable doubt.
That being said depending on where he was shot he could have survived that gun shot. But instead he chose to start the car and run away from the people who where better equipped then he was to treat a gunshot wound.
The warrant was out for his arrest already and when he was pulled over, he got out, spoke to the police then tried to jump back in this car and flee. Police are trained to make split second decisions to neutralise threats and that’s what she did. He deserved it and it’s better for everyone that guys like that are off the street. BLM doesn’t stand up for victims, it makes a fuss over criminals who got what they deserved
havin petty thugs & criminals act an ass and get shot is the most divisive and therefore most newsworthy
each side gets to say they were right
he was goin to jail no question he shoulda just shut his mouth and went for the ride
Good riddance if you ask me. America is a better place without that criminal.
No one should deserve death! She made a mistake and a human being is no longer breathing. She of course needs to face the penalties of the law for her mistake.
I wonder, does any other country have an active violent group that police have to contend with and still be held accountable?
Most countries it seems have police that either do whatever they want and are super corrupt and violent and are never held accountable, or they never have to really do anything aside from giving tickets to bicyclists using the wrong lane.
