Is it normal that i just don't wanna go out?

I am just not cherished with the idea of going out. I just like to sit im my room read books, watch movies & TV shows on my lappy, draw & work on my novel but mom & dad always lectures me that i should go out & socialise with people.
Its not that I never gets out of my room(I always go for jogging & cycling in morning).
Its not like I have no friends matter of fact I have a lot of friends but none of them is really close to me & it doesn't bother me that much.I mean sometimes I do feel lonely but who doesn't. Oo & I am 18 btw
So is it normal for an 18yro to just hate going out?

I'm a bit similar at 19, although I've changed a bit after getting a job. I've expanded my horizons a good deal and am a much more sociable person. Once I'm home I take it easy and use that time for myself. I think it's important to have a balance.

Why not take time away from home to enjoy mother nature, especially this time of year.

The sweet sound of birdsong, the warm breeze causing your hair to billow and dance as well as the gentle vernal sunshine kissing your face.

The intoxicating aroma of freshly mown hay and the the trees and bushes in bud, rousing from a sleep that seems to have been an eternity are but a few of her treasures that spring time has to offer.

Do you want to end up living under an overpass? You can't live with mommy and daddy fore-ever. Get a job and you'll be better about yourself. Right now, your just a sponge that's taking up space.
