Is it normal that i judge poeple by their smell.

Whenever i see someone attractive i want to meet them to see what they are like and judge if they are for me. If they don't smell right i just don't like them but sometimes i like really bad smells. Sometimes i also judge random people by smell and i am usually right is this normal, keep in mind i have a really good sense of smell and i can navigate using my sense of smell.

EDIT: I am only asking if it is normal not if it the right thing to do.

Is It Normal?

  • Normal. I do not want to be around people who smell bad. It is not judgmental because hygeine is a choice.

  • You smell like pure shit, OP. Your nose has been fucked up severely by your own stench. You're also a idiot for judging someone by smell when you should be judging them by personality.

  • I know how you feel... I totally judged people all the time if they smelled like smoke. I just automatically disliked them. I know it's wrong, because I probably smell like smoke--my father smokes all the time. But at least I try wearing some perfume to cover up the smell.

  • I dont like the way most men smell and I can guess before someone gets near if they are someone whose smell I would like. Posers who have on the tight shirt, muscles rippling, and some shiny designer shoes...they smell bad to me, I cant describe it, its not just the aftershave but its that too. Whereas nice, wholesome men with a jumper and normal shoes have a lovely natural smell and smell like washing powder and their house.

  • I judge people by how they taste.

  • If someone smells bad I tend to not want to be near them as I don't enjoy being nauseous.
