I'm not sure if i'm doing this because i have ridiculously low self esteem or because i value other attributes (such as personality) more highly. I have no frame of reference for whether or not this is normal behaviour.

Hmm... well, repulsion isn't a good thing. Do you perhaps feel that this is better than being alone, and going without? I think it would be better for your emotional state if you can lay off the slumming and pity/charity sex.
I'm quite happy to be alone, but my vagina has other ideas. I think you're right though, it's probably to stop having sex for a while whilst i sort out my emotions. >.<
I second Roselsabella's question. When you're about to have sex with someone, what's on your mind about them? Are you thinking about something they said or did that you liked, or are you thinking they're "the best you can do"?
