There's skin growing over my toenail and I just feel like cutting it off! It's causing pain now and I can't stand it anymore.

    is it the skin that's growing over the nail or the nail that's growing into your skin. ingrown nails do cause pain

    Its an ingrown toenail. I had surgery on mine so they'd never get ingrown again. My whole moms side of the family have had to get theirs done and my sister its genetic

    It’s an ingrown toenail. You’ll have to have it excised by a doctor.
