Is it normal that i have nearly no friends at school

I transferred school about two years ago. It's not my first time changing school (family reason:works). My old schools were pretty large, mostly public school and people there were study hard and easy going. The new school is quite small, the same grade students all have their own group and some of them are kind of racist. I used to be in the same group with them and that period just like hell. I feel a deep sense of alienation. I don't know is that normal that I prefer just study hard alone at school...

You're normal. Especially if some of them are racist.

what gasi said is the truth , your life long friends are never school chums. no they are the adults that come latter. you will see.

Just stick in at school, life is not a popularity contest. If people like you they will gravitate towards you, otherwise fuck 'em.

Friends you make at school are friends of circumstance rather than choice & will almost certainly not be your friends in 5, 10, or even 20 years time.

All friends start as friends of circumstance. I realize I'm still young but how else would you meet people if not circumstance. There is just as good a likelihood they'd be lifelong friends as anyone else you meet along the way.

  • Try to make an effort to get involved in something that interests you...sports, clubs, academic teams, etc. To have a friend you must be a friend. The effort will be worth it! Good luck!

Sorry you feel alone. I only have two friends at the moment but it's quality and not quantity. Most people only have a couple of true mates. I hope you find them. Until then its great to study as much as you can.
