Is it normal that i have a very wide range of preferences in girls?

I'm an 18 year old male. When it comes to girls I've always liked so many different features, and can't really answer someone when they ask me what my "type" is. I like short girls, tall girls, skinny, thick (like in between very large and thin), younger, older, long hair, short hair, nearly any race, (very attracted to Hispanic and Australian girls). I'm a thin, black male, & 5'10" by the way.

The only thing I can really think of that turns me off is a girl that has an attitude, or girls that are unnecessarily loud an obnoxious. I have a number of fetishes but don't take them to an extreme level. (I'm attracted to hands and feet for example). I swear I'm not a perv, I just really love females. I really like quiet, shy girls too. I'm a pretty laid back person and I'm usually not that out spoken, but I can be outgoing when I want.

I actually don't hang around that many females to be honest. I just want to hear people's thoughts on why so many people have only like one "type" when it comes to preferences in the opposite gender.

That you're relatively free of these notions is awesome and will most likely lead to you having a much happier, healthier dating life!

    That's awesome, you are able to be open minded and appreciate all sorts of beauty. Nothing says small mind like a girl or guy whose boyfriends all look like clones :)

    I don't have a definite type either. I think people who stick to types are cutting themselves short.

      For me, it's never been a choice. It is just what I am attracted to. Tall, dark women just have never been attractive to me. I can't help that.

    Since college, I have only been with one girl over 5'4" tall, and many were even shorter. Most have been blonde, all have had long hair and most have been pretty "fit", so I guess I have a definite "type". It really doesn't seem to be a choice; I see a short, fit gal, especially a blonde, and there is a definite physical reaction. Not so much anybody else would notice (unless I'm in a swim suit or the like), but certainly enough that it can be uncomfortable for me.
    The only exception is my present wife at 5'8". Our physical relationship grew from a friendship and working partnership, which surprised us both. Ain't life grand?

    You need a harem of diverse females. Fuck them all and then concentrate to the one or two that were the best.

      I laughed but not all Australian and Hispanic girls are like that hahah. I'm never even around any Australians, they're just a preference.

    It's not about standards.
    I'm extremely fussy with my girls, looks & appearance wise.
    It's just that I'm not fussy about things like height (as long as she's shorter than me), or weight (within reason).

    Every girl I've been with (not heaps by any means) has been absolutely gorgeous (& not just IMO) but all in different ways, from tall, skinny blondes to short, larger brunettes.
    If I had no standards the number of girls I've slept with would be dramatically higher & I'm sure you're the same...

    Normal. I don't have a "type" either...

    Don't even know what it is but there is just something about certain girls that makes them attractive to me no matter their height, weight (within reason), hair color, eye color, etc
