Is it normal that i hate the smart girl in my class

Ok so I'm in honors, all a.p classes have been my whole life but there is this one girl in my class who tries so hard just to prove she's smart. Especially when we have visitors during debates she just cuts everyone off, and it's like shut the fuck up! I'm not jealous but it's so annoying I just wish she would be humble and shut the fuck up! And when someone else is talking, she acts all superior like we are retards and we know nothing. Please, someone, punch this girl in her fucking face.

I specifically said I'm not jealous I just don't like the way she treats people acting like she's all superior and we are peasants.

It's normal to become jealous of people or annoyed.

However, the reason why you go to school with other students is to become more understanding and accepting of people you don't like or agree with.

If you really can't do that, then just ignore her or act all high and mighty to her to annoy her :p

Back when I used to go to high school, there was a guy or girl like that every year in at least one of my classes and no one did anything about them. The time you have with this person is pretty short(1 year I assume), so just hang on for a bit.

She wants to prove something to herself, let her do it. You are in no position to make her stop. You get more or less irritated that she is the one who always says stuff, but if you think again there is nothing wrong with that. You want her to be humble, while you lack that characteristic yourself? You need to be aware of your arrogance to even think about telling or feeling that another person should be humble.

If she was really the smartest, she would publish papers like I do.
