I've never enjoyed hot weather, possibly because I grew up in the Pacific Northwest.
I don't know where you live, but I absolutely hated the summers I spent in coastal Virginia because it was so damn humid.
There is all this pressure to enjoy summer.
During winter when it is gloomy, cold, etc, people imagine summer and think of those rare days when it is like 80 degrees and low humidity. Reality often has something else to say.
I think though that extreme cold is more crippling and dangerous than extreme heat unless you are in a desert land with no shade.
I love summer. No jackets, no itchy winter hats, no scarves (hate those), no clunky winter shoes. Just a pair of jeans, Hawaiian shirt, breathable shoes and you're golden.
I can sleep in my underwear with no blanket

In Bulgaria summer temperatures are between 34-40C
The only thing I like about winter is snow and drifting on empty, snowy streets. Winter is depressing af.
I don't mind Summer here in Delaware, but I have always hated Summers back in the Nevada desert when I lived in Las Vegas.
Well since it's started getting so damn hot even in the north up to 30 degrees celsius or more the last 3 years I have started disliking it too. I think I prefer autumn now, it's a nicer month overall and the temperature is perfect for cosy sweatshirts without it being so cold you can hardly go outside.
