Is it normal that i hate (british) people that say "bloody" in every sentence?

    I've never met anyone who says bloody in every sentence. It isn't said *that* much anyway. Stop being over the top.

    Just a sterotype. I'm from england, you are far more likley to hear cunt, wanker or you're mum. They seem to be the most common

      Why do you say cunt so much, isn't that worse than fuck? Never heard of it here, though the writers of South Park (from another part of the country, have used it). And isn't calling someone a wanker basically calling someone a masturbater?

      Why do you have to say mum? What's wrong with mom?

        Yeah it's worse and I think that's why everyone here uses it. And thats how we spell it. What wrong with trousers instead of pants? or crisps instead of chips? the correct pronounciation of aliminum? Different countries just have different ways :)

    Do they really say it in every sentence or it that only an exaggerated stereotype?

    It's my pet peeve when people use the word "like" too often when speaking. Not only is it annoying to listen to, it makes the speaker sound exceptionally stupid.

      I'm english and very few people I know use the word "bloody" and none of them say in every sentence, so from my experience it's a very exaggerated stereotype.

      I completely agree with you about the annoying unnecessary use of 'like', my sister's habit of doing that got so bad I had to make a "like jar" (like as swear jar) for her!

        Yeah, I thought so. It sounds like an American stereotype of the English, actually.

    Well I think it would be like saying "I cant find my [Fucking]keys". "ha ha fucking ha". See does that sound any better? It is slang lots of people use it. A knob the same as someones dick. So they have slang for the same stuff in other countries. These certainly don't sound as harsh as saying fuck or dick either. Are you going to apologize for your own countries slang?

    Only 2 accents i enjoy is The good ol mississippi accent. Talk about character, and good ol charm. and Watered down Cali accents so mixed up they talking straight with valley girl and surfer dude. Ha ha

    I think this is a bit of a stereotype:/ I spent about a week in London and the inhabitants didn't use "bloody" in ever single sentence 24/7. It's probably just the people you know that overuse it.

    Glad im in America and not exposed to thhose accents of UK. Unfortunatly i dislike many American accents aswell. Or perhaps its bad grammer and slang i find displeasing. Oh well.
