It's not the speakers themselves that I hate. The technology is freaking awesome! However, all the music that you hear being played from these gadgets in public is horrendous! Always some shitty mumble-rap crap. Come on people! play some Black Sabbath or something! Anything but that shit you're currently playing! >:C What a waste of an amazing technology.

Yes of course. However, it seems like those who like rap-music are the ones who are the most likely to want to blast it in public, for some reason. It's extremely uncommon to hear someone blast the type of music I like in public. That means I have to hear their crap whether I like it or not, but they don't have to listen to my stuff.
I agree. Every time I go to the gas station and someone is blaring loud music, it is always shitty rap crap. Same with Wal-Mart's parking lot!
I think, that the main reason why this happens is actually simple. Most people these days listen to rap, but metal is not that popular.
I don't think mumble rap qualifies as music...
Generic noises made while being wasted/ high do not require any talent.
