They treat me as if I am a child and not as adult as them because I'm not doing the same things they are (getting engaged, married, and/or pregnant). I just don't feel ready and don't even want to date at the moment, and for some reason that bothers them and then they end up treating me like I'm immature for it. Yet, they want to bring babies into the world when they're flat broke and have no way of supporting one, but I'm the immature one.
It's like they think life is a game and everyone is supposed to do all of this stuff together or else they're "childish". I don't want to do any of those things because everyone else I know is, I want to do them if/when I feel ready, you know?
