I am freshmen in my community college and first semester i took german and with in a month i had a thing for my German professor. She was cute. very slim and was in her mid 40's. I had secret crush on her when she started to take more interest in me than all the other students. She would stand in front me while i would do class work and catch her looking at me too many times than i can count. She would always look away very quickly. She would always touch my hand in a manner whenever i asked for help. She would stay close to me even though I was the top student in her class.

Is it normal for me to have a thing for my professor?

    For sure. Play up to it and encourage her to look at you and you play it for all that it's worth. Remember an "A" is worth 4 points. Depending on the number of hours you are taking it's worth a lot. Now after you finish the class, if you want to be even more familiar with her, then you can make your move. If she isn't married, then you should go for all you can get out of the relationship. Good luck.
