Is it normal that i had a dream about my ex?

I don't know why I had to dream about him but few weeks ago I dream about My ex and he all of a sudden hug me from the back and I liked it but I pushed him away so he hug me again from the back and I pushed him away again and he said that's why have I change since before.
And a few days I had a dream of us chit chatting in his car and he was driving but that's all I remember. Why am I dreaming about him when I'm trying to move on from him and we don't even talk anymore.

Is It Normal?

    You were in a relationship , you dedicated a part of your mind to him , and now that he's gone your brain has to fill his slot . And you probably miss him , if you were dating for awhile and then suddenly stop it's an abrupt change for your mind and body

      True. I should stop thinking about him then and fill his spot with other things. But do you think that maybe he's thinking and dreaming of me as well?
