Is it normal that i get so into what i'm playing that i forget that it's a game?

I tend to do this a lot, nearly every time I play. I feel really, really weird whenever I stop gaming, like it feels like reality is blurred for me.

It's cool that you can really get into it. Don't sweat it.

If I feel like I've been playing for 2 hours then most likely I've been playing for 8.

I remember, at the start of COVID but before I got a real job, I went full degenerate and played World of Warcraft Classic for anywhere between 6 and 12 hours a day. Those were the times.

I have sometimes played so much the real world feels like fiction and the game feels like my real life
