i recently came out as a lesbian because i discovered i was aroused by women's bodies and not men's, but i've recently had an encounter with a man and got extremely wet so now i'm confused as fuck
Could just be because you were in a sexual situation. People can be aroused during rape, doesn't mean they want it. It's a bodily function like sneezing.
If you want to be with girls, be with girls. Or don't if you don't. It's about what you want, not what you "are."
i don't have trouble getting aroused when i'm with a woman, but no woman actually would anyway so that's not really relevant (women have shown sexual excitement to woman on woman porn movies before, cant remember what the name of that study is) I do want to be with a man, i like them but when i see them like on the street even if they're attractive i won't feel anything
It's easy enough to be turned on by whatever and whoever, I could probably have sex with a cereal box but I wouldn't want to date one. I think what's in your heart and who you really want to be with ultimately, matters more.

besides, your statement is kind of false. women actually need psychological context to be aroused more than anything, that's why they need foreplay more than men do cause men are visual.
