Is it normal that i get a hangover from eating pizza

I dont mean because you feel bloated or have a problem with lactose. I get the exact same feeling the next day from eating pizza that someone gets (I get) from drinking alcohol.
Its like I have a hangover and feel shit the next day.

Some people are sensitive to particular foods or a combination of ingredients.

With pizza, the obvious candidates are bread, cheese and concentrated tomato. So you should think about whether one of those things is something you rarely eat except when it's part of a pizza.

If your pizza of choice is one with sausage or some other form of preserved meat, it could be that the preservatives in that are affecting you.

But if by 'pizza' you mean the cheapest possible factory-produced, frozen disk of cardboard-like base with God only knows what cheap and nasty crap smeared and dumped on top, then you might have problems nailing down what exactly is making you feel lousy.

That's entirely plausible. Some people just don't deal with acidic foods like tomatoes very well.

You say in another reply that deep-fried food doesn't sit well with you, so something else that could be a contributing factor is how commercially produced pizzas are often high in fat due to the thick layers of toppings. Mass-produced pizza mozzarella isn't really cheese at all, but a highly-processed combination of milk protein and vegetable oil flavoured with a little real cheese. The digestive systems of some people find that a challenge to deal with.

I'm a bit of a pizza-geek, I lived in Italy for several years and I regularly make pizza from scratch at home. I'm convinced that there's nothing inherently unhealthy or hard to digest about real, yeast-leavened bread topped with a little good-quality tomato sauce, a moderate amount of grated real cheese and a sprinkling of other quality toppings. But the pizzas that the big chains produce (Pizza Hut in particular) are really awful, with far too much sauce, cheese and toppings. Anyone with any sense knows that anything that's dripping with grease just can't be good for you.

As for frozen or chilled supermarket pizzas, most of them are even more ghastly.

Not that I have noticed. To much deep fried food can make me feel shit but not anywhere as near as pizza

I have a nephew that found out he has gluten allergy. He said he feels nauseous the next day if he was to eat breads, pizza or stuff made with dough. Im not sure about testing for it, but after the self quarentine is over you might get checked for food allergies.

"God I'm so tired of this your probably not even allergic to gluten" -character stares at him like bitch I'm gonna beat you- what a great moment in cinema. But for reals though that really sucks for him. Bread is amazing
