Is it normal that i fume when i get a spam email in primary?

I have email alerts on my phone, and when a spam email goes into primary my phone buzzes in because it's in primary. I'm obsessed with all messages that come in on my phone, so I get excited when the light flashes or I hear a buzz. If it's a useless notification or email, I get pissed and fume because I just got excited for nothing and I hate spam and solicitations. This feeling applies to phone calls,text messages, and email. Is it normal to feel this way or this extreme about this? How do you feel if this happens to you?
