I just wonder if he really got burned or something. I wouldn't ask him about it because if it is a painful memory why drudge up a past that doesn't even matter anymore? He's been divorced for years and never had any kids, so it's not like there is any serious baggage that could hold us back now.
True, I didnt think of it that way. Maybe he is sick of talking about it too. If you guys love eachother, I think it's awesome and that should be all that matters :)
