A girl I barely knew in my cousins’ school had a baby ages ago and it was weird for me as, like you, I remembered her being nine years old and us all going out to the zoo together and suddenly she was a teen mum. It made me wonder, “Where did our childhood go?”
As you get older the idea of people younger than you getting married and having babies has less of an impact on you. I’m 25 and still find it a bit weird but the novelty is wearing off.
