I'm a 22 year old guy. An 18 year old girl that I know is 4 months pregnant. The fact that someone many years younger than me is becoming a parent feels incredibly strange tbh, because I clearly remember her being a small child when I was a teenager. It's pretty mindboggling not gonna lie.
I find it weird too and depressing :( And I fucking despise when MINORS have children. Fucking gross
No. I have out of boredom looked people I went to school with up and I feel weirded out even that people the same age as me have children, some even several little ones! A lot of people start when they're like 18 though, not sure why. I guess like me they have no need for partying and stuff so they rather start a family already. As long as they're good parents I guess...The problem is hardly no relationship nowadays that starts at that age ever lasts. And often it ends badly because young people are more likely to start drama and shit. So that's a shame because the children has no chance to grow up with both their mom and dad.
A girl I barely knew in my cousins’ school had a baby ages ago and it was weird for me as, like you, I remembered her being nine years old and us all going out to the zoo together and suddenly she was a teen mum. It made me wonder, “Where did our childhood go?”
As you get older the idea of people younger than you getting married and having babies has less of an impact on you. I’m 25 and still find it a bit weird but the novelty is wearing off.
One of the girls who bullied me in high school had a baby at 19 and lives in the same shit town we grew up in it. No job, no education. Fills me with joy ngl.
Not weird at all. At that age, a woman is at her most fertile. It would have been fucked-up if she was 15 though. I know a person who gave birth at that age.
