Is it normal that i feel no emotionally attachment towards objects based .

...on their history?

I can't really stick to stuff like people do for example with their cars. Things are simply replaceable for me.

What about items passed down from family members?

Nothing of massive material value, little bits of jewellery for example.

Yeah, it's a pretty 50/50 thing, you either are or you aren't. And then sometimes you are & sometimes you aren't, so I don't think there is a 'normal' for this. You're safe :P

So you're not materialistic, good for you. A though it is normal to have an attachment to material objects based on sentimental reasons, and this would be especially true if family heirlooms.
