Is it normal that i feel isolated around white people because i'm not white?

I grew up in a poor, immigrant neighborhood of New York City, but I recently moved to an all-white area across the country. I have a hard time feeling like I "fit in" with white people because we had such radically different upbringings. Is it normal that I never feel comfortable around white people and think they have had easier lives because they did not deal with overt racism throughout their life?

White people get the most shit for being racist, when they aren't. Which sucks. White people are, for the most part, harmless. Just talk to them about whatever hobbies you may share currently and you'll be surprised at how interested they are in you and your past. Seriously, white ppl have the most boring unbringing. and you may not "fit in" but why would you want to? Just be you, people regardless of race respect that.

Usually people like you cone out much stronger then those who had a posh life. It is normal to feel isolated, but don't let them judge you.
