Oh yes but there are the people who transcend your stereotype. The people who are selfless, who create art, who try and better themselves. Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Einstein, the classics. And the people you see everyday committing random acts if kindness, such as driving around downtown delivering meals to all the homeless. People do what they can; it's not always noticeable. And that just gives me a little hope. :)
