Is it normal that i feel embarrased about a childhood memory?

In my reception class we did a christmas play. All we did was dress up as letters of the alphabet and sing songs. I was the tallest person in my class, and I was wearing A so of courrse people would automatically look at me. Except when we went on stage i wouldn't stop picking my nose. Seriously. There are pictures of it, and videos. Outside the reception classroom is a huge framed photo and in it I have my finger up my nose. Its so embarrasing. How can I live it down?

  • You were a kid...no one really cares. I would think it was awesome if there was a picture of me doing that as a child. I would look at it everyday and laugh hysterically! Hell I'd probably use it as my obituary picture and have it forever sealed on my tombstone.

  • DannyKanes Im assuming you are fourteen. It sounds like you are not too much older than when it happened as you are still in the same school. Just start laughing it off and eventually you will find it funny. If this is a combined elementary, middle and high school you will have a ways to go. Otherwise you will be out of that school soon enough.

  • Don't be so hard on yourself, you were a kid. They probably have it hanging because they think it's cute. If no one's making fun of you why are you embarrassed?
