Is it normal that i feel awkward around

I feel awkward around my friends boyfriend, or any male she likes/bring along. You would think i'd be use to being the third wheel by now but I'm not.
I'm socially awkward around this area because ik how I would feel if my best friend was haha-keke with my boyfriend a little too much. So I don't wanna seem too friendly towards her bf, but I also don't wanna be weird and all quiet either. Like how do I meet a happy medium?
What I usually do is I just don't say anything to him unless spoken to or if she says something. Also another thing, if we're at her house chilling inna living room and she goes to the bathroom or leaves...that makes me uncomfortable. So I get up and go outside to smoke or goto the fridge n get something to drink. Is this normal how I feel/act?

    I think its perfectly normal and that adjusting to social situations such as that is difficult and awkward. Whatever makes you happy but doesn't alienate you from your friend (unless that's what you truly desire) is a good idea for improving your issue

    You should all just have sex with each other and it'll get less awkward after a while.

    you should probably maybe say hi. and of course i would not want to be alone with someones boyfriend either. so just say where you are going and maybe ask if he would like to come. if you are outside i think it would be less awkward. of course, you have no bad intentions. you should not feel bad about it.

      because I don't wanna seem to friendly. Like I said ik I would feel some type of way if my friend was seemingly too friendly with my bf. Lol so I just want to respect that boundary but also not seem rude or whatnot and not speak at all.
