Is it normal that i eat at a restaurant i hate

I continually go to a restaurant I hate. The tables are sticky, there is never anyone in there and it's a dive terriyaki place in a strip mall.

The food isn't that good either but I crave it.

Am I just a creature of habit or a masochist? I usually sit here feeling miserbale but it is quiet at least.

Sorry that's a few questions. The only one I need an answer to is the main one in the title.

      What does that mean?

      • Monosodium glutamate. Glutamate is a powerful, taste-enhancing amino acid. Tasty foods activate the pleasure centers of the brain, which are regulated by glutamate neurotransmission.

I got the info from here -

You can see why something that activates the pleasure centers and releases dophamine would be addictive- you want to keep feeling good.
