like bugs bunny or this one, woody from toy story. they always seem to hug the kids from the front and the kids faces always end up in the adults crotch. is it normal that i dont think adults should be doing this job?
My husband used to work at Toys R Us. They treated him like sheisen and used him for physical labor (hence, why I had him switch jobs).
For that stupid-ass giraffe's birthday, they had him dress in the giraffe suit and dance around the store. He had a grand old time ("Come on, I was in a giraffe suit! It was funny!") but when I found the picture of it on his phone I tripped shit.
I hate animal suits but some people do have a good time with them so hey, what the hell. Besides, I wouldn't want kids in those suits.
I often wonder whether or not in these photos, if the person in the costume did it on purpose or if it had something to do with the kids height. Someone has to do the job, but I think the people should be screened on whether or not they're perverts, the same thing should go with with the people who work in malls (santa's, easter bunny's,etc.
I don't think that you have a problem with adults in costume but just the way that they hug children. Personally I see no reason in adults wearing costume, especially if it's turn on. Ultimately, the only thing that they should be aware of is their behavior around children and how they hug them.
