Is it normal that i don't see the sentence "i'm not like the other girls" as sexist?

I honestly think that people who see that sentence as sexist are nothing but people that are into the politically correct stuff.

It's just a sentence, and it can mean anything.

But people on the internet keep making a big fuss about it.
And I'm like "Who cares? It's just a sentence. Chill!"

The amount of people that are into the politically correct stuff is scary.

Who sees it as sexist? Generally, the phrase "I'm not like other -blank-" is just seen a massive insult to the intelligence of the one who used it.

Yeah but in a way it is because that means they think they're better than the "regular" woman. I just think that the women who say that shit just don't have any clue how other people are at all because in general they think they're special based on qualities most women have, only difference is most women don't go around making a big fuss about it. They're a bit attention starved probably.

    • I don't think that every woman who says that they're not like the other girls hate on the women that are supposedly like the "other women".

  • People get to horny over this shit. It’s like they gotta go for something to get attention and make a non existent problem of a sentence to become one as if it’s truly a problem.

The racist shit too. It’s like politics make it seem it’s a big problem here when only they’re the racist ones and gotta make it seem like some problem we really got going on. But to scared to face the real problems. But it’s whatever not everyone can face themselves.

I don't think it's an inherently sexist thing to say.

No it's not sexist. I think everyone thinks they're different than everyone else though.

Hate political correctness, but i kinda see girls who say that thing as someone trying to be politically correct. Theyre seeking approval, and the fear of not being approved of is a driving force behind political correctness. But deffy not sexist.
