Is it normal that i don't save anybodies phone number in my phone?

I talk to lots of people on my phone everyday but I have 0 contacts saved. Been like that for years.

I just remember who people are based off part of or the whole number or by the last texts we've sent each other.

+I end up memorizing peoples numbers eventually... to where ya know, when I'm a prisoner of war or something i'll actually know some phone numbers. ;0

+ if I'm not talking with someone for a long time they just sort of fade away off my memory, as they should because they are not responding to me or whatever.

Is It Normal?

    I mean if it's a system that works for you then you should be free to manage your numbers however you want.

    I hesitate to say it's not Normal, but it isn't common. What would be the consequences of saving phone numbers? I am old enough to be pre-cellphone and even then I had a little black book with phone numbers.
