Is it normal that i don't like that my boyfriend sounds like his dad sometimes?

I love my boyfriend to death and we have been together for almost 2 years now. Our relationship is going very good right now. Throughout our relationship, I've noticed that when my boyfriend uses a certain voice, he sounds just like his father. The reason this bothers me so much is because his father treats him like crap, he's done it in front of me, so I don't particularly care for him (if that wasn't already assumed). No, I haven't told my boyfriend that I don't really care for his father, I'm not gonna hurt him by saying something like that. I haven't told him that he sounds like his father sometimes and that it bothers me either. The fact that he sounds like his father doesn't make me want to break up with him or tell him to change or anything like that, it just drives me nuts sometimes and is probably something that I will just have to get over. I just want to know is this normal that it bothers me?

    You are really a great girlfriend because you dislike his dad because he treats him like crap...that just shows how much you care about him...I do think on some level you should tell him that they way his dad treats him bothers you..it hurts to hear him mistreated...just realize that his feelings for his dad are deep ...he might agree with you and still stand up for his dad so don't take it personally....

    if you don't really mind it and as long as he deosnt treat you like crap then I cant see the problem...

    Sorry, I must have mistyped or not explained myself well enough so I will correct myself. My boyfriend's voice sounds exactly like his father's at times, not the way he treats me. My boyfriend treats me perfectly fine. It bothers me that his voice sounds exactly like his father's at times because his father treats him like crap, my boyfriend nows it, and I know he does not want to be like his father, so it makes me sad. Hope this helps everyone understand it better.
