If you mean Anarchists, I'm personally insulted, because I am none of those things. The "by any means" reference is totally wrong: Anarchists, unlike communists, do not believe that the end justifies the means and the manner by which you reach your objective to make positive changes is just as important ad your goal.
No problemo, I'm glad you brought it to my attention. I don't think OP should have put Anarchists, and Antifa people together.
Ideally Anarchy would be peaceful, and there simply wouldn't be a need for government, but I digress. I tend to personally think that a lot of problems in the world come down to human nature, or as this one individual I used to know would say that stuff is a matter of human frailty. Of course it all depends on the human in question.
The older I get the more I tend to see that I can't change other people, but the flip side of that is that they can't really change me unless I allow them to, or want to change. I have to accept, and or reject people based on who they are, and not try to change them to suit my own wants, and or needs.
Sorry, my response has turned out to be a bit of a rant, I just got off the phone with someone I used to talk to, and he was talking about declawing cats, and how he thinks it's okay, and all so naturally it kinda triggered me emotionally. I told him that didn't believe it declawing cats, and if I had a pet cougar I wouldn't declaw it. I'm just glad I didn't argue about it, but has got me thinking.
Honestly, I was waiting for someone to get on my case for quoting Malcolm X, because the whole, "by any means necessary", comment is something Malcolm X used to say. I think you're more on point with regard to the topic when you referenced Communists, and the whole , "the ends justifies the means", thing to which I, of course, don't subscribe.
Declawing cats is absolutely not ok. America is one of the only developed countries in the world where this is legal. Everywhere else correctly considers this to be animal abuse and treats it as a criminal act.
There aren't many issues that I will immediately judge someone on because I generally like to live and let live, but as soon as someone tells me they are ok with declawing cats I immediately lose all respect for them. It's fucking disgusting and it makes me seriously question their whole world view and value system. It's just one of those things that's totally indefensible.
Thanks very much for your response, SwickDinging! He kept telling me that it was okay, and didn't hurt his cats, and I'm on the phone trying not to explode. I really hate the declawing of cats! I just was through talking to this person, because it really tainted the way I saw him, and just felt like he was a person of a very low spiritual vibration. I just felt very repulsed at his attitude, I saw him as very shallow, superficial, ignorant, selfish and generally moronic.
It's really not that hard to train animals, there are so many books, and videos out there. Domestic cats without claws are rendered quite helpless to defend themselves. Then he starts talking about how it's good, because the cats don't scratch the furniture, or his kids, and it just disgusts me so much. Children need proper guidance on how to interact with animals, and cats need proper training, good toys, enrichment of their indoor environment, and not to be mutilated.
Yeah, declawing is a really big deal. Thanks very much for your comments! 🙂👍🏻
IIN that I don't consider certain far leftists/antifa to be THAT weak?

I think your opinion is smart. Those people are awful, entitled assholes with a by any means necessary sort of attitude.

No, I meant Antifa, I really should have been more clear, and specific in my response. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, and my lack of specificity.
