Is it normal that i don't care at all about politics ?

I'm French and I feel like a very large majority (if not all) politicians in my country lies constantly and works solely for their own interests. And when they get exposed for money laundering and/or high treason (think Cahuzac or Benalla) , they always get away with little to no repercussions..
For these reasons I can't put an ounce of trust in anyone working in the government, is it normal ?

    After America decided that the only two people out of 320 million who deserved to be President were Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton I gave up on politics.

    Macron sucks. It’s kinda funny, it seems that France and Germany are both in a race to see who can destroy their country first.

    Politicians are generally douches and turds. Deciding who to vote for tends to be a choice for the lesser of two evils.

      That is pure generalization, though I agree that is case of most today (especially scums like Trump), there have been great politicians (the likes of Lincoln) who helped build the world and sacrificed their life in doing so. Did they have their flaws, every human does, one can criticize others but critics themselves are no better and have done nothing to make it better....
