Is it normal that i dislike using or saying the word woman?
I usually tend to say lady over woman, but the teachers use to try and correct me. I’m female btw.

It's fine as long as it is accompanied by the word "inflatable". As in "inflatable woman", now were smoothing along quite nicely.
"Lady" is a distinctly American synonym for woman.
Call a woman a lady in Britain, and people would assume you're either taking the piss (mocking the woman), you were referring to a woman from an aristocratic family, or you were being absurdly over-genteel.
Good thing I don’t give a damn about what the brits think. They’re just people, words ain’t gonna hurt me.
Thank you. I did not know that. I would like to ask What does Bollocks mean? Does it mean balls or ass. It seems to be synonymous with both? PS I'm not the OP.
Another interesting difference in American and British rude words:
In Britain, "fanny" means female genitals (synonymous with "pussy", but perhaps a shade more polite and a little old-fashioned), while in the USA, it's a childish way of referring to the buttocks.
As someone who grew up in the States, a British rude word I find particularly amusing is "knob". Calling someone a knob or a knob-head is equivalent to calling them a dickhead.
And Edwin is right about both usages of bollocks: it does mean testicles, and "What a load of bollocks!" has the same meaning as, "That's bullshit!"
Wow, I thought I was the only one. I'm alright saying it now, but when I was a teenager I avoided saying it too.
