Is it normal that i cringe when i touch cotton balls?

Whenever I touch cotton balls to take off nail polish or something i literally cringe. I get shivers when I touch it, sometimes even when I just think about it I start to feel chills. I hate the feeling of touching cotton balls. Is that weird?

    Why not use a rag then? You can buy a bag of clean rags that would do the job perfectly for just a few bucks. Problem solved.

    I can see that, the wierd sensation of the cotton on your skin. Also, its commonly associated with rubbing alcohol, which stings like crazy when cleaning a cut or scrape.
