Is it normal that i can understand bestiality to some extent but not furries?

We are animals so it makes sense to me that some people may be interested in animal sex (hell there's animal porn on the discovery channel all the time), although I think the act of it is wrong. However, furries kind of weird me out and I don't think they should walk around in public like that. I don't know if I feel threatened by them because they are a relatively new trend? Or maybe I don't like the idea of putting your fetishes on public display. I know not all furries dress up for sexual reasons, but that is a big part of it, right? I'm just hoping I haven't been brainwashed to think this way... is it normal to think the thought of bestiality is ok, but not the act of dressing as an animal in public for sexual purposes?

Furries to be honest scare me. If i am near them, i tend to move away. I just don't feel compfortable around them. There was this furry convention at the toronto science centre...

I think it is a little strange that you think this. Yiff is just a kinky fetish developed possibly in early childhood, probably from sexual tension in some cartoons. If you're a young kid, your parents don't explain sex to you, and then you see a pinch of sexuality in cartoons your brain might make the connection between sex and those specific cartoon characters. But anyways, I just think it's strange you think it's more "acceptable" to engage in coitus with an animal, than with a human dressed up as an animal/cartoon character.

for the majority of furries there is nothing sexual in it. it doesn't bother me if they like the sexual aspects of the fandom though, just don't force it down my throat like a fundamentalist with religion.

Lots of furries don't see it as a sexual thing at all.

How can it be worse for furries because it's on public display, but you just said animal porn exists of the Discovery Channel? Isn't that just as public as fursuiting?

I think it's normal to misunderstand the intentions of a niche subculture.

If lions and tigers mate and even have children (ligers, tigons, and bygones), why shouldn't women and gorillas have families? I completely agree with this and I don't agree with shooting them when they cross the border, like what happens in some countries. Those gorilla-lings are people too!

I'm setting up a charity. Do you want to join?

Those reproductions are almost universally the same genus and they're sterile freaks, sort of like what happens with incest (except too far instead of too close). Human is in homo genus, gorilla's in gorilla genus.

That's really strange. I never heard that term furries? Where do you see these people?

Furcadia. I used to go on that site when I was in middle school. I had no clue what furries were until years later. But it all makes sense to me now why there were a lot of sexual things going on on that game.

Well, I just don't care for the bestiality. But if people want to dress like that. Then what can you do?

I would think it would be the other way around. Dressing up as an animal is fine, I don't see it as sexual. But the thought of bestiality creeps me out. I guess it comes down to public versus private.
