Hey guys I'm trying to create a pen name and I can't decide which name. Please don't tell me that this is not the site for this I just want advice and if you have none then you don't have to say anything. Anyway I can't choose between names: syra or mae if you guys have a better idea then mention it,
I have a pen name, too. When deciding on mine, I just thought about things that I like and values I respect. Like my favorite color of green or the value of loyalty. For instance, say your favorite color is blue and you respect honesty...Another shade of blue is Cobalt, and Alecta is a greek, feminine name indicating honesty.
Your pen name would be Alecta Cobalt. Which I'm sure the perverts here will call that a stripper name, but you get the idea.
If you Google "baby names" or "name meanings" or something along those lines, many sites will give you a very long list of possible names, and probably a description of what the name means.
Otherwise, we don't know anything about you or what you're using the pen name for or who you're writing to, so it's hard to give much insight otherwise. You seem like you are thinking pretty in-depth about it, so might as well pick something with meaning to you...unless you just want to sound cool...or both.
