just keep interacting with them , show your confidence and be humble , genuine and kind hearted ... this is admirable by any girl as a lot of guys don't know how to treat girls . You don't need to worry .. those "cool guys" or jerk offs that seem to get the girl wont last long in the adult world .. women want a real lover who can take care of them emotionally and be honest and sincere . If you seem nervous or lack confidence it might make things awkward so just be confident and take leaps .. a lot of guys lack confidence .. even the so called studs . The guy who takes action and gives the appropriate attention will stand out more . I wouldn't be nervous because you have to have failed attempts to succeed and as long as you are casual and cool about them .. it's all good .
