Less people =/= less problems- better education does. Whether there are 5,000 people or 5,000,000,000, we have invented dangerous ideas that will continue to be dangerous until we are mentally equipped to handle them. Education is mandatory in first world countries, but what are we teaching children, really? We raise hypocrites. 'Care about your environment, kids, while I throw perfectly good paper in this trash'. 'I'm going to smoke and not put out my cigarette when I'm done'. 'I feel like driving to the corner store which is a 5 minute bike ride'. People need incentive to change their minds, not their existence. Again though, incentive- not force. There's no reason you can't appeal to people's softer side. People do care, they're just overwhelmed. But there's a problem for another day.
On another note, gosh I reallly am loving that people are so nice you know, wanting to change laws that they know won't have any consequence on -their- life. So actually, I would prefer these people pop out a kid or two before they make opinions on the subject.
IIN that I believe there should be a global 1-child and 0-Child Limit?
