I know this is racist, but whenever I walk past a black dude on the streets, I feel a sense of irrational fear that they're going to attack me or rob me. Obviously, this fear only applies to men, not women.
Black neighborhoods are where its really dangerous. Its natural to be cautious of people you dont know. Be smart. Dont let people convince you to let your guard down and assume theyre gonna be good people. You dont owe them anything you dont even know the.. If you dont know them trust your gut, lock your car, watch your back.
I lived safely in a black neighborhood for years. This is an ignorant to think that a black neighborhood automatically dangerous
Think of the most dangerous and most crime ridden part of ANY major city and go check out who lives there. It doesnt mean they're all bad but you shouldn't just let your guard down and put yourself in a stupid situation. You dont wanna go get gas at the wrong gas station at 3am.

There are good black people in said bad neighborhoods which are bad for a lot of reasons.
I've never felt that. I feel more uneasy walking past druggies and they tend to be overwhelmingly white around here, at least the ones who are openly addicts. I haven't yet encountered any disturbing black men.
