A month ago I had a virus and now I am healthy, but whenever I wake up my throat feels sore, but after I brush my teeth and use mouthwash it goes away. It also comes back if I stay in a cold spot for too long.
A family member used to be sick in winter each and every winter. But you might check if you have heat ducts where you live, you might check for any mold growth. My family member found that the ducting under the house had sagged down and water settled under the house so the moisture in the ducting was a perfect place for mold to grow. so when they turned on forced air furnace he got sick from the mold. Cant hurt to investigate.

Could be acid reflux, it usually is worse in the morning because you've been laying down.
Don't eat too close before going to bed and sleep a little elevated, see if that works.
I think that we all sometimes breathe through our mouth while sleeping and this can cause dryness of the throat. That can also cause a little soreness too, so if the mouthwash or brushing your teeth helps, then that is a way of moisturizing your throat and making you feel normal again.
It's understandable to be paranoid and worried of random sore throat considering the infamous dire situation the world is suffering right now.
